Pork Pond Pottery was founded by me, Amy Heffner in 2020 after years and years of making pottery intermittently (when life allowed) in college, at Fired Up Studios and Dock 6 Pottery

When studio time became unavailable due to the pandemic, and time was short running kids to events and activities, I decided to set up a pottery studio in my home (basement). We made several up grades and additions in 2021 including wiring my kiln, installing an exhaust fan, and after many months of exclusively hand building pottery, we bought a potters wheel.

In the future we’ll add a slab roller and a clay extruder. All in time. For now I have plenty to keep me busy!
